St. Scholastica
St. Benedict's twin sister, who once won an argument with the weather.
Scholastica and Benedict were twins, and they both ended up running monasteries a few miles apart. They were allowed to meet once a year, at a house between the two, and they would talk about God until it got dark and then Benedict would go home. Those were the rules. Benedict was very fond of rules.
One year Scholastica asked him to stay longer. He said no, he had to be back. So she put her head in her hands and prayed, and the sky opened. It rained so hard that nobody was going anywhere.
Benedict said something like what have you done. And she said, I asked you and you said no, so I asked God. They talked all night. She died three days later, which is probably why she had asked.
