St. Cecilia

Patron saint of music because of one line about what she did at her own wedding.

Cecilia was a young Roman noblewoman, and the account says that while the musicians played at her wedding she sat and sang in her heart to God alone.

That is it. That is the entire reason she is the patron saint of music. One sentence about a girl not really listening to the band.

She married a man named Valerian, told him about her faith, and he and his brother both became Christians and were killed for it before she was. There is a famous statue of her in Rome, carved in the 1600s from a description of her body when her tomb was opened, and she is lying on her side with her face turned away.
