St. Anthony of Padua

The saint the whole world asks for help finding what's lost.

St. Anthony of Padua — hand-drawn portrait for Catholic kids

St. Anthony is the friend the whole world turns to when something has slipped away. A lost toy. A lost shoe. A lost feeling of peace. He listens, he prays, and so often things turn back up.

But Anthony was so much more than a finder of lost things. He was a gentle Franciscan friar with a powerful voice, a heart full of love for Jesus, and a special tenderness for children.

He's also the patron saint of letters, which makes him something of a house saint around here.

The June envelope

June's letter came from St. Anthony himself, sharing his story and reminding the little ones that nothing, and no one, is ever truly lost to God.

  • A collectible prayer card, pencil art on the front, a hand-lettered prayer on the back
